Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Perform routine vital signs and documentation accurately in the resident record
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
• Valid CNA credential in Pennsylvania or ability to meet state requirements
• Comfortable and experienced working night shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass facility-required health screenings and background checks
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
• Able to take and record vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with resident-focused documentation and reporting
• Good observational skills to notice subtle changes in condition
• Teamwork, time management, and compassionate bedside manner
