Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate behavioral health care across the lifespan from pediatrics to adults
- Perform phlebotomy and blood draws accurately and safely as part of patient care
- Assess, observe and document patient behavioral status and clinical changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across multiple outpatient practices
- Follow facility policies and state regulations to ensure safe, compliant care
- Support a positive patient experience in a small hospital setting, adapting as you float between clinics
- Communicate clearly with patients, families and team members to coordinate care plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of psych/behavioral health practice experience (pediatrics through adults) — this is required
- Current phlebotomy experience with demonstrated blood draw skills
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Active New Hampshire state license (compact allowed) — must be uploaded with profile
- Valid driver’s license and must have own vehicle for this assignment
- CPI, AVADE or Welle certification strongly preferred — candidates with these certs will receive priority
- Travel experience and ability to float across outpatient practices highly preferred
- Permanent address included in profile and any RTO details provided at submission
Education
- Relevant clinical education and active state licensure (e.g., RN or clinically appropriate license required by role)
- BLS (AHA) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong behavioral health assessment and intervention skills
- Phlebotomy technique and safe specimen handling
- Excellent documentation and charting abilities
- Effective communication with patients of all ages and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to varied outpatient clinic workflows
- Time management and prioritization in a busy, multi-practice environment
