Shift Type: Primarily weekdays (Monday-Friday), 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Day shift); 8-hour day schedule with 1 weekend per month (flex days off during the week when covering a weekend)
Hours per Week: 38
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical function and mobility to create individualized care plans
- Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments that improve patient outcomes and independence
- Document evaluations, treatment plans and progress accurately in MediTech
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, safe mobility and discharge planning
- Maintain productivity expectations while ensuring high quality patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Florida Physical Therapy License — required
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience (hospital or acute care experience preferred)
- Comfortable using MediTech or similar documentation systems (MediTech experience is a plus)
- Ability to work 8-hour day shifts and cover 1 weekend per month as scheduled
- Professional dress code: light gray scrubs or business casual
Education
- Degree required for PT licensure (Doctorate or equivalent in Physical Therapy as required to hold Florida PT license)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and clinical assessment skills
- Proficient documentation in electronic medical records (MediTech)
- Familiarity with inpatient therapy workflows and productivity expectations (75%)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt schedule when covering occasional weekend shifts
