Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents, focusing on safety and dignity
• Administer medications accurately and document all interventions thoroughly
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition promptly to the care team
• Perform wound care and routine clinical treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Support residents with activities of daily living while encouraging independence
• Communicate clearly with families and coworkers to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain one quickly
• Active CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab settings preferred
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a resident-centered mindset

Education

• LPN diploma or vocational nursing certificate from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic wound care, restorative nursing, and ADL support
• Comfortable with electronic charting and timely clinical documentation
• Good assessment skills and the ability to escalate clinical concerns appropriately
• Teamwork, time management, and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
