Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and create patient-centered treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and progress patients toward functional goals
- Collaborate with mental health and occupational therapy teams to coordinate holistic care
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans and progress notes accurately and timely
- Educate patients and staff on exercise programs, safety and mobility strategies
- Participate in orientation, training and team meetings to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Valid California physical therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Doctorate or degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent)
- Experience in physical therapy; experience with mental health or correctional settings preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication, documentation and teamwork skills
- Ability to complete required facility background checks and security clearances
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in evaluation, treatment planning and therapeutic exercise
- Knowledge of mobility, balance and functional restoration techniques
- Proficient with clinical documentation and electronic health records
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including OT and mental health staff
- Strong patient education and motivational skills
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
