Roles & Responsibilities

• Room patients efficiently and compassionately, ensuring each visit starts smoothly
• Triage patient phone calls with clinical judgment and clear communication
• Manage medication refills and reconcile medications accurately
• Coordinate prior authorizations for procedures and medications to keep care moving
• Collaborate with cardiology providers to support excellent outpatient care
• Document patient encounters thoroughly and maintain clear handoffs

Qualifications

• Active RN license (compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Experience in cardiology or outpatient clinical settings preferred
• Strong patient assessment and triage skills with excellent communication
• Ability to manage prior authorizations, medication refills, and clinic workflows

Education

• Active RN license required; ADN or BSN (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiology clinical knowledge and outpatient care experience
• Patient triage and assessment skills
• Prior authorizations and medication refill processes
• Patient rooming and clinic flow management
• Comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary cardiology team
