Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and document clinical changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record to support continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact license eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications such as ACLS preferred
• Experience working with sensitive populations and trauma-informed care, MST experience a plus
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing diploma required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and critical thinking
• Medication administration and IV therapy fundamentals
• Accurate charting and familiarity with electronic health records
• Trauma-informed care principles, especially related to MST
• Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines
