Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, providing safe, high-quality patient care
• Scrub and circulate during cases, maintaining sterile technique and supporting physicians and RNs
• Continuously monitor patient hemodynamics and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer and monitor conscious moderate sedation under unit protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot Phillips imaging equipment and interface with Meditech/Mac Lab EMR systems
• Communicate clearly with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient, patient-centered care
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond within established response times when scheduled

Qualifications

• Current BLS required
• Current ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
• RCIS or ARRT certification a plus
• EP experience is beneficial but not required
• Familiarity with Meditech and Mac Lab strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with Phillips cath lab equipment and monitoring systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stressful situations as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

• Cath lab procedural skills: scrubbing, monitoring, and circulator support
• Conscious moderate sedation monitoring and safety protocols
• Proficiency with Phillips imaging equipment and cath lab instrumentation
• Experience using Meditech and Mac Lab electronic medical records
• Ability to interpret basic hemodynamic data and respond appropriately
• Teamwork, adaptability, and excellent communication under pressure
