Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures (LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostics/interventions)
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment including GE Innova fluoroscopy systems and Mac Lab
• Provide high-quality pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care in holding and cath lab areas
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status using ECG monitoring and intervene as needed
• Accurately document care and procedural details in the Meditech EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly when called (must reside within 30 minutes of the lab)
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe, efficient procedural environment

Qualifications

• ACLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Experience with holding and monitoring preferred
• Familiarity with GE Innova fluoroscopy systems and Mac Lab equipment
• Competence with Meditech or similar EMR documentation
• Ability to take on-call responsibilities and be housed within a 30-minute radius of the facility

• Cardiac catheterization procedures (LHC, RHC, PCI)

• Mac Lab familiarity

• Pacers, ICDs, cardioversion, TEE support, and other cath lab procedures
