Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele/PCU
Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including post-surgical, medical, and telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while delivering high-quality nursing care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions and positive outcomes
- Precept and mentor nursing students, sharing your expertise and passion for the profession
- Float to various units including Multi Care and Pediatric areas to support patients across the continuum
- Respond to low census situations with flexibility while maintaining excellent patient care standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of MedSurg nursing experience
- Strong telemetry interpretation skills with ability to pass dysrhythmia exam
- Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Post-surgical care including total joint replacements and abdominal procedures
- Managing patients with infections, COPD, pneumonia, and withdrawal syndromes
- Caring for stable CPAP and BiPAP patients
- Precepting and supporting nursing students
