Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons during a wide range of cases including CVOR, total joints, general, vascular, and spine surgeries
Maintain sterile fields and follow strict safety protocols
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care
Support the OR team during trauma, ENT, neuro, and orthopedic procedures

Qualifications

Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
Proficiency with Cerner Surginet EMR system
Current Surgical Tech certification and relevant state requirements
Ability to take call and work flexible shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, pacers, and lead extractions
Familiarity with a variety of surgical cases from ortho to trauma
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced OR environment
