Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; occasional weekend shifts with a weekday off in exchange

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute care, ICU, and med-surg units
Treat a wide variety of patients including ortho, total joints, oncology, and ventilated individuals
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and mobility
Provide specialized therapy for cardiac surgery patients in a high-volume cardiology program
Adapt treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient population

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Comfortable working with diverse diagnoses across med-surg, oncology, and cardiology units

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Acute care physical therapy expertise
Experience with ventilated patients and ICU therapy
Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Ability to manage varied patient populations with confidence
