Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, flexible 8-hour days with start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, 35 hours per week guaranteed

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based rehabilitative treatments under PT supervision
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and ambulation training
Administer modalities and use supportive devices to improve function
Track patient progress and adjust care plans with your supervising therapist
Educate families and caregivers on home programs and recovery strategies
Document treatment minutes and clinical notes accurately in the EMR
Collaborate in care conferences and utilization review meetings
Support students and contribute to a positive learning environment

Qualifications

Active PTA license in Texas
At least 1 year of PTA experience
LTC or rehab experience preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively under PT direction
