Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in all surgical specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general procedures
Support robotic-assisted surgeries using both Mako and DaVinci systems
Provide exceptional patient care during CABGs, craniotomies, joint replacements, and trauma cases
Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams across Bryan and College Station campuses
Precept new team members and share your expertise with colleagues
Respond to on-call needs with a 30-minute response time for after-hours cases

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Strong robotics experience with Mako and DaVinci systems
Proven ability to circulate CABGs and craniotomies
Cardiovascular OR experience required
Willingness to float between Bryan and College Station campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in circulating complex cardiovascular and neurosurgical procedures
Proficiency with both Mako orthopedic and DaVinci robotic systems
Strong knowledge across multiple specialties including ortho trauma, general, and urology
Ability to handle call cases including TCARs, carotids, and vitrectomies
Excellent communication and precepting skills
