Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and ortho
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to different units and patient needs
Administer medications including heparin drips and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
Support patients recovering from general surgery, urology procedures, gynecology, and ENT cases
Maintain accurate documentation and respond to changing patient acuity levels

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to various units

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for adult-geriatric populations
Experience with cardiac monitoring, neuro assessments, and post-surgical care
Comfortable floating between MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation units
Ability to titrate heparin drips safely
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
