Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess mobility status and safety for discharge planning
Facilitate early mobilization for patients in acute inpatient settings including ICU, medical, surgical, and orthopedic units
Determine appropriate care pathways by assessing whether patients can safely return home or require rehabilitation transfer
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes across diverse diagnoses including strokes, neuropathy, and general weakness
Work independently while maintaining high standards of care for 8-10 patients daily

Qualifications

Current Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to work independently in fast-paced acute care environments
Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills

Knowledge & Skills

Occupational Therapy expertise in acute inpatient settings
Patient evaluation and early mobilization techniques
Experience with ICU, medical/surgical, and orthopedic patient populations
Discharge planning and safety assessment competencies
