Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule with weekend requirements based on unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients including those with CHF, COPD, and post-operative needs
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips to ensure patient safety
Administer and titrate Heparin and Cardizem drips within approved parameters
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
Support patients and families through end-of-life and palliative care journeys
Float to other units as needed while maintaining excellent care standards

Qualifications

Active WA or Compact RN license required
Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience
Current BLS certification
Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drips preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Medical-surgical nursing with focus on CHF, COPD, and post-operative care
IV drip titration including Heparin and Cardizem
Patient assessment and care planning
Isolation precautions and infection control
End-of-life and palliative care support
