Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and spinal surgeries
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs to ensure patient safety and timely interventions
• Titrate critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin with precision and confidence
• Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver seamless patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and recovery plans with warmth and clarity
• Float to other telemetry units as needed, showcasing adaptability and clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
• Neuro experience highly valued
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with up to 2 attempts
• Must demonstrate competency in sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
• Experience with titrating cardiac and insulin drips
• Comfortable caring for trached patients, post-CVA, TBI, and spinal surgery cases
• Proficient with Cerner EMR and WOW documentation
• Excellent communication and bedside reporting skills
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team setting
