Location: Bakersfield, California

End Date: 09-08-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekend call, and rotating holiday on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
Deliver high-quality nuclear medicine imaging using GE equipment
Collaborate with the lead technologist and in-house radiologist
Maintain accurate documentation in Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Provide compassionate care while ensuring patient safety and comfort

Qualifications

Active CA NMTL license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
Comfortable floating to nearby facility when needed

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac imaging
SPECT procedures
Bone scans
Bleed studies
Gastric emptying studies
GE equipment operation
Radnet and Merge Unity systems
