Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive respiratory care across all inpatient hospital areas
Manage both invasive and non-invasive ventilator support for critically ill patients
Respond to emergencies and assist with intubations to ensure patient safety
Perform arterial blood gases and pulmonary hygiene procedures
Coordinate home oxygen assessments and patient transport with artificial airways
Provide medication delivery and hyperinflation therapy tailored to each patient

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Active Colorado state license
Valid driver's license within 60-mile radius requirement

Knowledge & Skills

Respiratory modalities and medication delivery
Emergency response and ventilator management
Arterial blood gas sampling and pulmonary hygiene
Patient transport for critically ill individuals
Home oxygen assessment and coordination
