Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with Saturday and Sunday call every 6-7 weeks and one call day per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Robotics, and GYN procedures
Prepare patients for surgery and support smooth transitions through pre-op and post-op phases
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Monitor patients in PACU and Phase 2 recovery, responding quickly to any changes
Float to partner facilities when needed to support patient care across the system
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner and Surginet systems

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS certification required
Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Robotics, and GYN cases
Comfortable working with pediatric and bariatric patients
Cerner and Surginet EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile technique
Ability to handle fast-paced Endo cases with quick turnaround times
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float between facilities as needed
Comfort with call responsibilities and varied patient acuity levels
