Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments and deliver high-quality med/surg and postoperative nursing care
• Monitor telemetry and identify changes promptly to keep patients safe
• Administer and manage IV medications and drips (Lasix, heparin, insulin, IVP metoprolol, diltiazem) with precision
• Manage wound care, drains and VAC therapy to promote healing and comfort
• Provide enteral and parenteral nutrition support and NGT/G-tube management
• Care for central lines, PICCs, midlines and HD catheters with strict aseptic technique
• Perform Foley, nephrostomy and suprapubic catheter care and ostomy management
• Document patient care accurately in Altera/Allscripts Sunrise and communicate effectively across the care team
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary rounds and patient experience activities to advance care quality

Qualifications

• Active RN license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (telemetry/med-surg experience strongly preferred)
• Comfortable with 12-hour night shifts and EOW scheduling
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, central line care, wound care and postoperative nursing
• Familiarity with Altera/Allscripts Sunrise is a plus
• Ability to float to like MST units when needed
