Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac cath lab imaging procedures with precision and care, supporting complex cases like LHC, RHC, TAVR and TEER
• Circulate in the cath lab during cases, ensuring patient safety and smooth procedural flow
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation per unit protocols and patient needs
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment (Philips, Siemens) and documentation systems (Merge)
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to prepare patients, assist clinicians, and document procedures accurately
• Maintain sterile technique, infection control standards, and unit-specific guidelines while providing compassionate patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond professionally to urgent procedural needs

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) registration required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience as a cath lab technologist or similar role with cath lab circulating and moderate sedation experience
• Comfortable with advanced cardiac and vascular procedures (Impella, ECMO, ICD/PPM, peripheral and endovascular AAA)
• Familiarity with Merge and experience on Philips and Siemens imaging equipment preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac cath procedures and cath lab workflow
• LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP procedures, Impella and ECMO support
• ICD/PPM management and peripheral vascular procedures
• Operation of Philips and Siemens cath lab imaging systems
• Clinical documentation using Merge
• Moderate sedation monitoring and patient safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork in high-acuity procedural environments
