Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate labor and delivery care throughout all stages of childbirth
• Circulate during C-sections to support the surgical team and ensure patient safety
• Perform and interpret fetal monitoring and Doppler assessments to guide clinical decisions
• Manage inductions, IUPC placement, DFM and other intrapartum procedures confidently
• Operate and troubleshoot Alaris and PCA infusion pumps and Monica Novii telemetry
• Document clinical care accurately in CPN Gold and Meditech to maintain continuity
• Collaborate with OB hospitalists, residents and the multidisciplinary team for optimal outcomes
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and one-to-one care for high risk labor cases

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience (required)
• Demonstrated ability to circulate C-sections (required)
• Experience with high-risk LDR care is highly preferred
• Comfortable using Monica Novii telemetry, CPN Gold and Meditech documentation systems
• Skilled in fetal monitoring, Doppler assessments and intrapartum procedures
• Hard working, flexible attitude and a team-player approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of fetal monitoring, DFM and Doppler techniques
• Proficiency with IUPC, inductions and management of C-sections
• Experience using Alaris and PCA infusion pumps and Monica Novii telemetry
• Familiarity with CPN Gold and Meditech electronic medical records
• Ability to manage 1:1 high-risk labor patient ratios and prioritized clinical decisions
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced L&D environment
