Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room with a focus on orthopedic cases
• Perform scrub and circulating duties to ensure safe, efficient surgeries
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile technique and adherence to OR protocols and safety standards
• Respond to on-call requests professionally and promptly when scheduled
• Document patient care accurately in the appropriate clinical systems

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification, mandatory
• Active ACLS certification, mandatory
• Strong orthopedic operating room experience only, required
• Experience functioning in both scrub and circulating roles, preferred
• Approximately 5 years of perioperative nursing experience preferred
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities
