Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions to keep the care team informed
• Support mobility and safe transfers while following proper body mechanics
• Assist with personal hygiene, feeding, and comfort measures with dignity
• Communicate clearly with nurses and families to support coordinated care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and adaptable to per diem scheduling
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility health/immunization requirements

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and safe transfer techniques
• Knowledge of vital sign measurement and documentation
• Familiarity with infection control and PPE best practices
• Able to follow care plans and report changes in patient condition
• Team player with good time management and observation skills
