Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including ADLs and mobility assistance
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting while preserving dignity
Measure and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the care team
Document care accurately and consistently in patient records
Collaborate with nurses and clinicians to support care plans and positive outcomes
Maintain a safe, clean environment by following infection control practices
Communicate respectfully with patients and families to build trust and comfort

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (California) or ability to obtain state certification
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working per diem with a flexible schedule
Strong communication, compassion, and teamwork skills
Ability to pass background checks and drug screening as required

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and assistance with ADLs
Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Basic charting skills and familiarity with electronic medical records preferred
Infection control, safety protocols, and proper PPE use
Time management, prioritization, and reliable attendance
