Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation to support patient care plans
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to promote patient comfort and safety
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe patient environment

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in California required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required depending on site policy
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and able to handle physical aspects of patient care
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings

Education

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of patient hygiene and basic nursing care procedures
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
• Good time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Compassionate bedside manner and ability to respond calmly in clinical situations
• Basic electronic charting or paper charting experience
