Shift Type: Per diem schedule, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM day shift (days vary / schedule to be determined)

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the MST program during assigned day shifts
- Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up resources
- Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and best outcomes at every step
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
- Experience working as an RN, ideally in MST or a related specialty (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with per-diem/variable scheduling and stepping into different clinical settings
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and care planning for diverse patient populations
- Patient-centered communication and education
- Accurate electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Prioritization, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with state nursing regulations and best practices
