Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
• Assess and monitor patient condition, recognizing changes early
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Operate and manage ICU equipment, including ventilators and monitoring systems
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans
• Document patient care clearly and timely in the electronic health record
• Support and educate patients and their families during critical moments

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (required)
• Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience (preferred)
• Current BLS certification; ACLS strongly preferred
• Ability to work per diem/day shifts and adapt to changing assignments
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills

Education

• Nursing degree (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred but all qualified RNs are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ventilator care and respiratory management
• Intravenous therapy, central line care, and titratable infusions
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Teamwork, situational awareness, and effective communication under pressure
