Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team in a timely way
Perform vital signs, basic clinical tasks, and accurate documentation with attention to detail
Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to support individualized care plans
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through clear, kind communication

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or must obtain upon hire
Demonstrated ability to perform patient care tasks safely and reliably
Pass background check and any required health screenings or immunizations
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
Familiarity with basic vital signs and documentation
Ability to follow care plans and communicate observations clearly
Respect for patient dignity, privacy, and safety
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks on a busy shift
