Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes promptly
• Document patient care and observations accurately in the chart/EMR
• Assist nursing staff with treatments, positioning, transfers, and mobility
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to support patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification valid in California (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
• Previous experience as a CNA or in a direct care role is preferred
• Valid government-issued ID and ability to pass background and health checks
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Able to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
• Good time management and ability to work well in a team
