Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Cost Accounting and Decision Support systems to produce accurate service line profitability analyses and monthly P&Ls.
• Publish monthly service line and physician practice P&Ls and scorecards, ensuring clarity for operational and executive leadership.
• Develop financial feasibility, cost and reimbursement templates in STRATA to evaluate ROI, payback period, NPV and IRR for capital projects.
• Lead reporting to external rating agencies (S&P, Fitch, DAC, EMMA) and prepare data for audits, GME reporting, FEMA and insurance renewals.
• Establish routine reviews with leadership to analyze service line performance and drive performance improvement plans for variances to budget.
• Train and mentor managers, directors and the supervisor of decision support to interpret productivity tools and request/consume ad hoc reports.
• Oversee and support software implementations including STRATA forecasting module, ERP components and leasing software integrations.
• Validate cost structure updates, review feasibility studies prepared in STRATA, and provide documentation for finance-driven operational decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (required).
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in cost accounting, budgeting and/or decision support with healthcare exposure.
• Experience with STRATA financial software or comparable decision support tools.
• Proven experience publishing service line and physician P&Ls and supporting financial audits and external reporting.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience; comfortable training managers and supervising analysts.
• Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or Health Administration) and financial and/or healthcare certifications.
• Preferred experience: hospital contracting, physician reimbursement, and familiarity with bundled payments.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• Master Degree in Business Administration or Health Administration (preferred)
