Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT imaging procedures independently and accurately
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment, ensuring safe and efficient image acquisition
• Prepare and administer contrast media and perform intravenous contrast injections with care and precision
• Maintain quality assurance and perform routine equipment checks to ensure imaging standards are met
• Adhere to radiation protection, safety protocols, and departmental policies while modeling Enloe Medical Center’s core values
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and clinical teams to support excellent patient care
• Document procedures, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement efforts in the department
• Support service excellence initiatives and assist leads and managers as needed

Qualifications

• Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT) — required
• Approved CPR certification — required
• ARRT certification and Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification — desired
• Advanced CT certification — desired
• One year CT experience desired; two years diagnostic x-ray experience desired
• Competence with IV contrast injection and CT equipment operation

Education

• Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the CA Department of Health Services (CRT)
• Approved CPR certification
• ARRT and Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiobiology
• Proficient in patient care, positioning, and principles of radiographic exposure
• Skilled in image acquisition, radiation physics, and radiation protection
• Critical thinking and problem-solving with excellent communication skills
• Experience with CT equipment operation, X-ray equipment, and contrast media administration
