Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the bedside
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Support rehabilitation goals and assist with activities of daily living to promote recovery
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record
- Contribute to a positive patient experience by offering respectful and empathetic care
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; Massachusetts licensure preferred
- Completion of an accredited LPN program or equivalent training
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification as required by facility
- Comfortable working in a long-term care/rehab nursing environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Education
- Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program; high school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical assessments
- Wound care basics and assistance with rehab protocols
- Clear, accurate charting and documentation practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
- Professional bedside manner and strong patient advocacy
