Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the bedside
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Support rehabilitation goals and assist with activities of daily living to promote recovery
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by offering respectful and empathetic care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; Massachusetts licensure preferred
• Completion of an accredited LPN program or equivalent training
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification as required by facility
• Comfortable working in a long-term care/rehab nursing environment
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic clinical assessments
• Wound care basics and assistance with rehab protocols
• Clear, accurate charting and documentation practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
• Professional bedside manner and strong patient advocacy
