Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document them in the chart
• Perform routine assessments and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Assist with activities of daily living while promoting resident independence and dignity
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and family members to create and follow individualized care plans
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and facility policies
• Contribute to a positive team culture by mentoring peers and sharing best practices

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (practical/vocational nurse) — Massachusetts licensure preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Comfortable administering meds, performing wound care basics, and completing routine assessments
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background checks and health screenings

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program or vocational nursing diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical judgment in long-term care and rehab settings
• Medication administration and accurate documentation skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records/charting
• Basic wound care, IV assistance familiarity preferred
• Effective patient and family communication, empathy, and problem solving
