Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct and compassionate patient care under the direction of an RN, helping residents feel safe and respected
- Administer medications via oral, topical, vaginal, rectal routes and by inhalation, following established protocols
- Chart all medications given, omitted, or refused accurately and promptly
- Assist residents with activities of daily living — personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and mealtime support
- Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that promotes resident dignity and independence
- Communicate clearly with the care team and families to support continuity of care
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Maine State Board-approved CNA course (required)
- Active on the Maine CNA registry (required)
- Graduate of a Maine State-approved Certified Medication Administration program (required)
- At least 1 year of prior CNA experience (required)
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Customer-service oriented with a compassionate approach to resident care
Education
- Graduate of a Maine State Board-approved CNA course
- Completion of a Maine State-approved Certified Medication Administration program
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and medication charting
- Direct patient care and ADL assistance
- Basic medical terminology (preferred)
- Mobility assistance and personal hygiene support
- Clear documentation and charting practices
- Strong communication and customer service skills
