Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert emergency nursing care for patients across the acuity spectrum
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients quickly and decisively in high-pressure situations
• Manage critical cardiac and trauma interventions with confidence and precision
• Deliver pediatric emergency care tailored to children and their families
• Perform moderate complexity testing in compliance with CAP requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate timely patient care and disposition
• Document clinical findings and interventions accurately in the medical record

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• ACLS required
• TNCC required
• PALS required
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (required for moderate complexity testing)
• Experience in Emergency Department nursing and comfort with critical cardiac, trauma, and pediatric emergencies

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (required for CAP moderate complexity testing)
• Active RN licensure (completion of nursing program and RN credentialing required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency assessment and triage skills
• Experience with critical cardiac and trauma care protocols
• Pediatric emergency care experience and comfort treating children
• Proficiency in moderate complexity laboratory/testing procedures
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
• Accurate clinical documentation and familiarity with EMR workflows
• Ability to prioritize and multitask during peak volume and high-acuity events
