Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and gross motor assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide orthopedic rehabilitation and post-operative care for conditions such as ACL tears, rotator cuff repairs, and total joint replacements
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 visits with compassionate, patient-centered care
• Deliver hands-on treatment, therapeutic exercise, and functional training to help patients return to their priorities
• Document progress and communicate treatment plans clearly with interdisciplinary team members and referring providers
• Educate patients and families on home programs, injury prevention, and safe activity progression
• Adapt interventions for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations to ensure safe, effective outcomes

Qualifications

• New graduates welcome; 1+ year of clinical experience preferred (posting explicitly allows new grads)
• Proven experience or training in gross motor assessments, orthopedic rehab, and post-operative care
• Comfort managing an active caseload of ~50-55 visits
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and the care team
• State physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure (confirm exact state licensure requirements with recruiter)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Evaluation/Assessment techniques and gross motor assessments
• Experience treating orthopedic conditions: Achilles tendonitis, ACL injuries, meniscus tears, rotator cuff issues, fractures, osteoarthritis, total joint replacements and related post-op care
• Familiarity with managing low back pain, disc herniation, SI joint dysfunction, stenosis, plantar fasciitis, and postural dysfunction
• Ability to treat across the lifespan: adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Strong documentation, time management, and caseload prioritization skills
