Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients thoroughly and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve strength, ROM, balance and function
- Create and teach effective home exercise programs for patients and caregivers
- Document patient progress clearly and timely to support continuity of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage caseload efficiently to help reduce clinic wait times and improve access
- Adapt treatments for a variety of diagnoses in the outpatient setting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (as listed by the facility)
- Current Colorado PT license (DORA) or valid PT compact privilege for Colorado
- BLS (AHA) certification current and on file
- Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
- Minimum 2 years of PT experience; 3-5 years preferred
- Comfortable working in an outpatient clinic and treating varied diagnoses
- Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients and families
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

- Patient evaluation and clinical reasoning in outpatient settings
- Treatment planning and progression for strength and functional gains
- Strength training techniques and program design
- Range of motion assessment and interventions
- Balance training and fall-risk mitigation
- Designing and teaching home exercise programs
- Experience with varied musculoskeletal and functional diagnoses
- Accurate documentation and time management for efficient caseloads
