Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including toileting, transferring, bathing, grooming and dressing
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs with compassion and efficiency
• Obtain and record vital signs, weights, and other resident information accurately
• Monitor residents and report any changes in condition to nursing staff immediately
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for all residents
• Report any allegations or signs of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the charge nurse
• Collaborate with the care team to meet resident needs in a timely and respectful manner

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1+ years of related experience preferred
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and working as part of a multidisciplinary care team
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CNA certification required; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in assisting with ADLs (toileting, transferring, bathing, grooming)
• Skilled at obtaining and recording vital signs and weights accurately
• Strong reporting skills for communicating changes in resident condition
• Knowledge of abuse/neglect reporting procedures and resident safety protocols
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents and families
• Detail-oriented with good time management and ability to prioritize tasks
