Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor resident status and communicate changes to the care team promptly
• Assist with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to implement individualized care plans
• Support a positive, safe environment by following infection control and safety practices

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — current and in good standing
• Completion of an accredited LPN/vocational nursing program
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across the care team
• Preferred: Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
• Preferred: Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Resident assessment and reporting changes in condition
• Wound care basics and skin integrity monitoring
• Familiarity with electronic medical record charting (facility-specific EMR)
• Infection control, hand hygiene, and safe patient handling
• Compassionate resident-centered care and family communication
