Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray exams ordered in the Emergency Department accurately and efficiently
- Operate and maintain the GE 64 CT scanner and digital X-ray equipment with care
- Document imaging studies and patient information in Meditech in a timely, professional manner
- Collaborate closely with ED staff to prioritize urgent studies and support trauma workflows
- Ensure patient safety and radiation safety practices are followed on every exam
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and the care team during imaging encounters
Qualifications
- ARRT certification in CT required
- ARRT certification in X-ray (XR) required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant technologist experience
- Experience in trauma and ED settings is preferred
- Comfort working in a freestanding Emergency Department environment and as part of a small team
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in CT and digital X-ray imaging procedures
- Experience with GE 64 CT scanner operation
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record
- Ability to work in fast-paced ED and trauma imaging workflows
- Strong patient positioning, imaging protocol knowledge, and team communication
