Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality general and vascular ultrasound exams with attention to diagnostic detail
- Conduct abdominal, small parts, and OB/GYN studies reliably and efficiently
- Execute full vascular exam protocols including carotid, arterial, venous studies and PVRs
- Collaborate with the ED, inpatient and outpatient teams to prioritize urgent studies
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure timely image submission
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication during exams
- Operate and maintain GE Logiq equipment and report any issues to biomedical services
Qualifications
- Current RDMS certification
- Current RVT certification
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound/sonography experience as specified
- Proven competency in both general and vascular ultrasound exams (candidates without these skills will not be considered)
- Comfortable working night shifts and providing weekend night coverage
- Easygoing, team-oriented personality to fit the unit culture
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in abdominal, small parts and OB/GYN ultrasound exams
- Skilled in full vascular protocols: carotid, venous, arterial and PVRs
- Familiarity with GE Logiq e9 and e10 systems
- Experience working across ED, inpatient and outpatient settings
- Good EMR documentation practices and image management
