Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, nights (includes every other weekend; no on-call)

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage ventilator settings and care for mechanically ventilated patients using Servo I ventilators and similar equipment
- Deliver and monitor BiPAP, V60, Airvo and nebulizer treatments to optimize respiratory function
- Perform weaning assessments and implement weaning parameters to progress patients safely
- Conduct chest physiotherapy (CPT) and incentive spirometry to support pulmonary recovery
- Respond quickly to respiratory emergencies and collaborate with the ICU and pediatric teams
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in the patient EMR
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and home equipment use
- Work across patient care areas as needed, supporting NICU/PICU and adult ICU patients
Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT certification (required)
- Current ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (as stated)
- Comfortable with ICU and pediatric respiratory care
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend schedule
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and credentialing checks
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with mechanical ventilation and ventilator management
- Proficiency with Servo I ventilator, V60, BiPAP, Airvo and Hillrom vest therapy
- Skilled in nebulizer treatments, incentive spirometry (IS) and chest physiotherapy (CPT)
- Strong pediatric (Pedi) and NICU/PICU experience is a plus
- Solid critical thinking, patient assessment and weaning parameter management
- Clear communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
