Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams using Siemens equipment including the Siemens Ysio S
• Position patients with care and precision to capture clear images while maintaining patient comfort
• Start peripheral IVs and assist with preparation and/or administration of contrast media for CT and MR patients
• Document exams and findings accurately in ACS, Radiant/IHIS, and EPIC systems
• Collaborate with interpretation services, IV teams, lift teams, and radiology colleagues to ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain infection prevention and isolation precautions to protect patients and staff
• Adhere to radiation safety best practices while delivering compassionate outpatient care for adolescents and adults
• Assist with special imaging views across body regions including abdomen, chest, spine, extremities, and head

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Must have hands-on experience with Siemens imaging equipment, including Siemens Ysio S
• At least 1 year of relevant radiologic technologist experience
• Experience starting peripheral IVs and assisting with contrast administration
• Comfortable working in adult and pediatric outpatient settings
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Travel assignment experience required

Knowledge & Skills

• X-ray imaging techniques and image optimization
• Patient positioning for a wide range of exams (abdomen, chest, spine, extremities, head and facial bones)
• Use and operation of Siemens imaging systems and workflows
• Radiation safety and infection prevention practices
• Proficiency with documentation systems: ACS, Radiant/IHIS, and EPIC
• Starting peripheral IVs and assisting with contrast media preparation and administration
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary support teams including IV and lift teams
