Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living support to residents, helping with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Deliver safe, person-centered care while following care plans and facility protocols
• Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report any changes to nursing staff
• Assist with mealtime support and documentation of intake and output as required
• Support a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control standards
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or Travel LNA (T-LNA) credential — required
• Comfort working 12-hour night shifts in a long-term care setting
• Current basic immunizations and ability to complete facility onboarding requirements
• Background check and health screening clearance per facility policy
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar healthcare environments preferred
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of an approved LNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to observe, document, and escalate changes in resident condition
• Compassionate interpersonal skills and patience with elders and vulnerable populations
• Time management skills for efficient shift work and handoffs
