Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients within your assigned unit
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Maintain clear, timely charting and communicate handoffs effectively to ensure continuity of care
• Support facility initiatives for quality improvement and patient safety

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Active Delaware business license required to staff in DE
• Active account with the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHS) as noted by the facility
• Current clinical experience as an RN in relevant patient care settings
• Ability to complete facility onboarding and credentialing in advance of assignment start

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
• Active RN license as required by facility and state

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Safe medication administration and documentation practices
• Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
