Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting changes promptly to the care team
• Support safe transfers and fall-prevention measures to keep residents secure
• Document care activities and observations clearly and on time
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver resident-centered care
• Create a warm, respectful environment — be the friendly face residents look forward to

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in the appropriate state
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfortable assisting with mobility and safe patient handling
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first approach

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Foundational clinical skills: ADLs, vital signs, basic infection control
• Good charting habits and attention to detail
• Teamwork and collaborative communication with nurses and staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
• Empathy and patience when supporting older adults and individuals with complex needs
