Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans while following established protocols and safety standards
• Position and coach patients with compassion so imaging is accurate and patient experience is positive
• Operate CT equipment confidently and troubleshoot basic issues to keep the schedule moving
• Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure image transfer to PACS
• Follow radiation safety practices and assist in quality assurance tasks to protect patients and staff
• Participate in required competency testing and skills checklists to maintain clinical qualifications
• Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and clinical teams to optimize patient care

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT certification required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• State license/certification verification as required by Michigan
• Successful completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist (per facility)
• Required pre-employment health screenings: immunizations, drug screen, fit test, and TB/IGRA
• Comfort working weekend shifts and providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
• ARRT-CT credentialing (certification required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Radiation safety and dose optimization techniques
• Experience with PACS and electronic patient documentation
• Patient positioning and intravenous contrast administration fundamentals
• Good communication skills for working with patients of all ages and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to follow protocols, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail
